A Member of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers since 1985, Andrea Hoffman-Simmel is the first woman ever to win a violin competition in Germany. Her many honors include the Violin Society of America’s Silver Medal for Tone. Her instruments have been shown at Lincoln Center, New York City, and at other prestigious exhibitions across the U.S. and around the world.
