ARTISTIC VIOLIN MAKING WORKSHOP KRZYSZTOF MROZ

Krzysztof Mróz – luthier artist, graduated from Technical School of Lute Instruments in Nowy Targ, from 1980. ZPAL member (Association of Polish Violin Makers) and active member of the board of the Union (currently a member of the audit committee). Violin making art he learned from school faculty pp. Andrew Janik, Joseph and Francis Bartoszek Marduły in Nowy Targ, later visited the studio master Mieczysława Bielańskiego in Wroclaw.

For his contribution to the promotion and development of Polish culture, it was 2003. awarded a silver medal by the President of the Republic of Poland merit.

Artistic Violin Making Workshop runs from 1980. The scope of his work includes renovation, correction, reconstruction of old instruments, strings, and above all, the creation of new violins, violas, cellos and double basses systems in classical and baroque . These instruments are characterized by the highest level of the executive and stylistic, while outstanding sound qualities. Violins and cellos built based on the designs of Cremona masters Antonio Stradivari, Giuseppe del Gesu Guarnieriego Jean-Baptiste Guadaniniego, and viola according to their own models. A spirit lacquer used on isolated developed primer (ground) based on organic compounds and color from złocistooranżowobrązowej to red-brown.
