Augustino began his violinmaking education in Chicago at the Kenneth Warren & Son School of Violinmaking and in restoration and repair at Bein & Fushi, Inc. under the guidance of William Webster, who was trained by world-renowned maker and restorers, Fernando Sacconi and Hans Nebel. All were associated with Rembert Wurlitzer, Inc. of NY. Augustino’s experience in the art of restoration and instrument making, as well as his continued exposure to many outstanding examples by the great masters, have given him an in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the violin, viola and cello.
