Gene Freeman, the owner of Blue Ridge Violins, began playing the Cello at the age of 12. Gene’s passion for the Cello continued when he joined the symphony at Appalachian State University and has strengthened throughout his life. Not only does he have an impressive musical background resume, but he has also been restoring and repairing violins, violas, and cellos since 1972. With special training in violin repair from renowned luthiers, Gene’s expertise guarantees superior results.
