In addition to building new stringed instruments, the focus of our master violin making workshop is also copying, restoring and evaluating old masterpieces of violin making.

A detailed replica or a sound copy of a stringed instrument is not the primary goal when copying. Rather, an old instrument offers an additional plus towards more freedom in design, personal expression and tonal result.
