Born in Pozzaglio and grew up in Robecco d’Oglio.
Graduated from the violin making school of the hometown (Scuola Statale di Liuteria di Cremona I.P.I.A.L.L.).
Restoration with Gimpel Solomon (classical instruments) and Andrew Dipper (baroque instruments).
Worked four years with the woodcarver Bruno Tosoni.
Frequented the gruppo artistico Leonardo of Cremona.
First workshop in Robecco d’Oglio in 1972, established in Cremona from 1975 to 1981, then in Les Bayards (NE) before settling down in Berne in 1987.
The activity includes the making (for a private clientele only), the restoration, maintenance and sale of instruments, bows and accessories of the violin family.
