As a master violin maker, I understand each of my instruments as an individual sound sculpture. The creative process, from finding the resonant wood in the high altitudes of the mountain forests up for polishing the final coat, paint, takes hundreds of hours. Finally comes my artistic vocation as a master violin maker only there for the destination where I manage to give the musician with my instrument a “voice” to.
So passionate I have developed over many years their own form language and each of my instruments wears my artistic signature, so is the artwork that I create, but not the apparent sculpture. It is the sound that occurs in the inner world of the hearer. Only in the encounter between the musician and the resonances of the instrument itself shapes the work of art. Well crafted resonances are like a color palette that can paint the musicians sound.
