PAUL MICHAEL STANTON VIOLINS
Paul Michael Stanton’s instruments are made using only the finest materials. The selection of timber forms an important first stage in the violin making process. Its tonal properties and physical beauty are ensured by selecting the best Swiss spruce for the fronts and the finest slow grown Balkan maple for the back, ribs and head. The initial seasoning is extended by storing it for at least another five years before its use. This guarantees its complete stability before work commences.
Each instrument is handmade and is constructed on an individual basis in order that maximum attention can be paid to each stage of its construction. Musicians are welcome to become actively involved in the process and any specific requirements can often be incorporated within the early stages.
