Scrollavezza & Zanrè instruments may be commissioned choosing from a selection of approximately fifty different models of violins, violas and cellos. These models are derived from the direct meticulous documentation of the best examples of violin making of the past. In fact, interpreting a model does not mean superficially drawing an outline and imitating it, but studying the instrument in its three dimensions, thus understanding the essential importance of the arching, the distribution of the thicknesses and the characteristics of the material.
