In 1982 he started studying music at the School of Music in Brasilia. In 1985 he entered as a student of the undergraduate music course at UnB (University of Brasília). She studies Transverse Flute, Flute and Viola da Gamba. In 1987 he received a scholarship to attend the course of Interpretation of Baroque Music with Original Instruments, held in the city of Antwerp (Belgium), in the classes of Paul Dombrecht and Sigiswald Kuijken. He continues his activity as an instrumentalist musician and music teacher until 1992.
