MARKUS SCHERSCHEL GEIGENBAU

After my training at the Geigenbauschule in Mittenwald, I was able to gain more than thirteen years of experience as a violin maker. During a one-year stay in Mexico City, I worked in the areas of new construction, repair and restoration for Miguel Zenker Instrumentos Musicales.

After that, I worked for four years in the workshop ‘Geigenbau Winterling’ in Hamburg. Here I was able to expand and refine my repertoire of important restoration and repair techniques.
