Isabella Nicola Cabrera was a 10-year-old girl who was born with no left arm, but her condition did not stop her from playing the violin. A group of undergraduate students from George Mason University made it possible for her by providing her a 3D printed prosthetic arm. Abdul Gouda led the arm designed and created by these students as their final project for their bioengineering course.

Isabella is a fifth-grade student at Island Creek Elementary in Fairfax County, Virginia, USA. Her new prosthetic arm was lighter and very easy to control compared to the previous prosthetic arm which was designed by her violin teacher.
