The attendees are members of the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers, master craftspeople gathered this spring from across North America to mark the AFVBM’s 25th anniversary. The group has undertaken the first wide-ranging study of violin making in this country, a project that includes public concerts, exhibitions, and an important series of lectures and panel discussions on making in America.
