Contemporary Violins was formed in Glasgow in 2012 by professional violinists John Robinson and Sharon Haslam. Both are members of the Orchestra of Scottish Opera.

Scott Cao make a range of violins and violas to suit all abilities, from advancing and conservatoire students to seasoned professionals. The violins play well, sound great and represent outstanding value for money. Our current stock includes two commissioned baroque violins.
Scott Cao violins are being played by talented young musicians attending the specialist music schools of Chethams, St Mary’s, Douglas Academy and the RCS Junior Department as well as by members of NYOS Orchestras and WSSSO.
