FABRIZIO PORTANTI

Fabrizio Portanti, violin-maker from Cremona I am making violins, violas and cellos following classical cremonese violin-making tradition. I dedicate special attention to the sound quality of my instruments, using personally seasoned wood and a special spirit varnish prepared in my laboratory.

I was born in Cremona on 29 August 1963.
I graduated from the International School of Violin-making in Cremona in 1981 under the guidance of Master Wanna Zambelli.
After graduation, for 5 years, I attended the laboratory of Gio Batta Morassi perfecting my style and honing my skills.
