He studied with his father Vilém Kužel Jr. and took his final exams in 1996 in Luby near Cheb at the SOU of Musical Instruments.
Until the end of 2001, he worked in the studio at Kopečná street number 32 together with his father. Since 2002, he has been working in a new studio at Čajkovského street number 39. He is dedicated to building new violins, violas and cellos, as well as to restoration work and repairs. He builds new instruments mainly according to the Guarneri and Stradivari models.
He has already participated in international competitions, for example the V. Metelka competition in Náchod (1997), where he received a diploma for violin and violin head carving, the competition in Paris 1999 and the competition in Poznań 2001 – a diploma for participation in the second round. In 2005, his violin was bought by the Brno Philharmonic.
Since 2008, Kateřina Štruncová ( Javory , Cimbal Classic ) has been playing his violin.
