John Dike studied Violin making at the London College of Furniture in the late 1970’s under Patricia Naismith and Restoration under Harold Herne. He then worked for various retailers while establishing a workshop in Dorset.
Since then he has worked in Dorset and Somerset and for the last 15 years has shared premises with Compton Pianos in Sherborne.
As well as making and repairing, John stocks a good selection of instruments, bows, and accessories suitable for most string players needs.
