MICHELE DOBNER

After earning diplomas from Master Luthier and Safeguarding property liutari Michele Dobner he moved to Madrid where he is active as a master restorer in the studio of Josè Maria Lozano. He settled in Cremona in 1997 where it is stated as a builder of stringed instruments earning several awards and international recognition.

Inspired by the quartet A. Stradivari built in 1690 for the court of Spain, it started an acoustic research by developing the construction philosophy that the choice of the resonant wood frames sees the string quartet as a tool, creating tonal uniformity across the extension of this training.
