After graduating from the secondary school I apprenticed with the factory for string instruments “Cremona”, where I learned the fundamentals of violin making.
Once I began to grasp the principles and acquired the skills needed for the refinements of the trade, deeply impressed by the violins exquisiteness, came to realize that the only way to personalize my instruments is to open my own studio.
Since I started to handcraft instruments, I have made more than 240 instruments for professional musicians and serious amateurs. I am in the craft of violin making for more than 16 years, 6 of which I specialized with Vladko Naidenov who is the best acoustic in Bulgaria.
In my work I aim to achieve a few things – well balanced acoustic sounding, beautifull craftsmanship and comfort in playing. I strive for a sound that satisfies the most exacting musicians –deep, strong and beautiful. This can be achieved only with a serious knowledge of the characteristics of the wood and the acoustic zones, precise work and devotion to the creation of the instrument.
Since 1999 I am member of the Regional Association of Violin Masters in Kazanlak. I have also participated in three national competitions.
