Mieczysław Rataj

I have been running my independent luthier atelier since 1985.
I studied the violin-making craft at the Kenar College of Fine Arts
in the town of Zakopane. Later, I developed my practical knowledge
of traditional violin-making craft;constructing new instruments,
repairing,restoration also by collaborating with numerous violin makers
both in Poland and abroad.I have participated in  violin-making competitions.
