After graduating from the International Violin Making School of Cremona under the guidance of Wanna Zambelli in 1981, Alessandro Tossani worked at several laboratories including those of Francesco Bissolotti, Gio Batta Morassi and Bruce Carlson, where he dedicated himself to the restoration of instruments arc for a long time, acquiring the most difficult restoration techniques, frame and tuning acoustic point.

Over the years he acquired a reputation as one of the most experienced restorers.

The quality of his instruments and restoration work required by musicians and soloists from around the world, earned him numerous appreciations by the leading world experts and made his laboratory a reference point for musicians and collectors.

The development of his techniques, honed in the years thanks to the collaboration with other internationally renowned restorers, progresses continuously toward recovery methodologies to preserve the original material as possible and combine the use of the tool needs.
