I was born in Genoa in 1960. My interest in luthiery dates back to 1978 and after many years of professional violinmaking, since 1995 I focused my attention on baroque bows.
Alongside with my activity of professional bowmaker, as indipendent scholar I carry on my research about original bows in cooperation with Italian and European institutions.
With the goal to issue a support for all the musicians who want to perform “historically informed”, in the last years I started sharing the results of my studies holding lectures and classes.
