The assembly of a study instrument is essential. These instruments have variable acoustic qualities but they must be assembled with the greatest care: Custom bridge, adjusted soul, fingerboard, nut checked or redone if necessary, perfectly adjusted pegs, thinned neck if necessary, assembly of good quality strings.
A student instrument must be assembled with as much care as a concert violin. A poorly assembled instrument can handicap a student and totally discourage him. This work must be done by a competent luthier.
