Managing Director Carlo Ballara is a professional violinist and violin teacher. He played at the highest level in European orchestras for sixteen years whilst working as a violin dealer in London. He returned to New Zealand in 2012. Carlo continues to work with dealers in Europe and regularly attends the London auctions to purchase instruments for Christchurch Fine Violins.
