Our mission is to offer you the best stringed and bowed instruments, made for over two decades in the workshop of the well-known luthier Vasile Gliga, from Reghin, at an affordable price for everyone. We have a wide range of instruments (violins, cellos, violas and double basses), made and lacquered by hand, available for various levels (beginners, advanced, professionals) and age groups, from instruments for children to those for adults.
The wood used is from our area, from where it is said that Master Antonio Stradivari himself took the wood for his instruments. This place is called Valea Italianului, located in the Carpathian mountains, close to where our company headquarters are located. The material used for the front of the instruments is the resonance spruce, while the wood for the back, neck and bridge is the curly palin, dried naturally.
It is said that, when building a violin, the master luthier puts in it all the sounds that it will make later. It then depends only on the singer’s ability to discover all the possible valences of the instrument.
