JENS NORSKOV

Diploma di Maestro Liutaio nel 1982 presso la Scuola di Liuteria di Cremona, sotto la guida triennale di M° Francesco Bissolotti.
Lo stesso anno si trasferisce, assieme ad altri liutai, in Toscana – prima a Campocorto nel Chianti, e dopo qualche anno a Firenze, in società con Paolo Sorgentone.
Alla fine degli anni ottanta apre una bottega al centro di Napoli, dove alterna la costruzione di strumenti nuovi con il restauro.
I suoi strumenti vengono suonati da musicisti in Italia, Spagna, Germania, USA, Danimarca, Svezia, Olanda, Regno Unito e Giamaica.

JN graduates in 1982 from the International School of Violinmaking in Cremona, after a three-year guidance from M° Francesco Bissolotti.
That same year he moves to Tuscany – first to Campocorto, in the Chianti-area, where he works together with other fellow violinmakers and later on, to the city of Florence, running a workshop in collaboration with Paolo Sorgentone.
At the end of the Eighties, he opens a workshop in the center of Naples, doing both construction of new instruments as well as restoration.
His instruments are currently played in Italy, Spain, Germany, USA, Denmark, Sweden, Holland, United Kingdom and Jamaica.
