JOHN COCKBURN

I was taught violin making by Neil Értz, and have been building instruments for advanced students and professional players since 2005. My instruments are based on classical Italian models by makers such as Stradivari and the Amati and Guarneri families, with meticulous attention to detail applied at every stage of the design, construction and set-up processes. Best quality materials are used, carefully selected for optimum acoustic and structural properties as well as visual beauty.
