Lukas Wronski is a distinguished artist; violin maker, musician and painter. He was born in Poland to a family steeped in artistic traditions from a few centuries. He started playing the violin an early age like also performing and acting on the stage with different music groups. He became interested in violin making at the age of 13, when he started apprenticing at the violin making atelier of Adam Stalma chat his hometown Limanowa. He graduated from Antoni Kenar’s College of Arts in Zakopane, Poland, in the string instrument making class of Stanislaw Mardula. He was awarded his Master of Arts degree with honors under Antoni Krupa from I.J. Paderewski’s Academy of Music in Poznan, Poland,in the faculty of artistic violin making.

Additionally, he has apprenticed and worked in distinguished ateliers of violin making in Poland; London, England; and Cremona, Italy where he got experiences in the ateliers of Eric Blot and Riccardo Bergonzi. In 2007 Lukas was invited to the United States by famous fiddler Byron Berline from Oklahoma. In 2009 he moved to New York and since then he started working for David Segal Violins in Manhattan. From 2012 he opened his own violin making atelier in Queens and became to be owner of Lukas Violins.

Lukas has participated in a variety of international violin making competitions and exhibitions in Europe and the United StatesHis instruments have received many awards and have been appreciated by many great musicians. In addition he an avid painter, and has taken part in numerous art exhibitionsin Europe and the US.
