Victor BERNARD was born in 1985 in Compiègne.

He studied at the Ecole Internationale de Lutherie in Newark, England, where he graduated in 2008.

Passionate about the archery he joined the House Bernard in Brussels the same year. He worked there alongside Pierre Guillaume, who taught him how to make, restore and transmit his taste for old bows and expertise.

In October 2014, Victor joined the Flagey workshop in Brussels where he worked alongside the luthiers Catherine Janssens and Joanne Van Bosterhaut.

He became an active member of Ekho, an association created to promote luthery and contemporary archeology.

In 2014, the Marcel Vatelot Foundation awarded him a scholarship to help him in the development of his workshop and preparation for international archery competitions.

He multiplies experiences with Georges Tepho and Eric Fournier in Quimper, Eric Grandchamp in Crozon and then with Emmanuel Carlier in Paris.
