Fabienne Gauchet was trained at the school of violin making in Newark, England. After obtaining her diploma in 1998, she continued her training during internships, notably in France, her country of origin. Established in Canada in 2000, she worked for Wilder and Davis Luthiers for fifteen years in repairs and restorations. She thus had the opportunity to be in contact with very beautiful instruments and many musicians. Enriched by these experiences, she now devotes all her time to making the quartet’s instruments. In constant search of the development of her knowledge and her knowledge, she participates in international competitions as well as in various events such as the New York Contemporary Violin Makers Exhibition, the Forum of Makers in Canada and the renowned Oberlin Violin Making Workshop.
